Welcome to The Advocacy Table
A Space for Learning, Planning, and Showing Up With Confidence
The Advocacy Table is a space built for caregivers — especially parents — who are trying to navigate school systems, support plans, and tough conversations, often for the first time. Whether you're preparing for an IEP meeting, requesting an evaluation, or simply trying to understand what your child is entitled to, we’re here to help you move from overwhelmed to prepared.
This work is personal for us. We're grounded in both clinical expertise and real-life caregiving experience. We believe no one should have to figure this out alone.
What We Offer
We help caregivers feel confident, informed, and ready to advocate through a range of services and resources:
-
Free and Paid Guides
Step-by-step checklists, email templates, and planning tools written in clear, accessible language. -

A free 15-minute welcome call, and structured 30- and 60-minute paid consultations to walk through your concerns and help you prepare. -
IEP and 504 Support
Help with understanding evaluations, preparing for meetings, revising proposed goals, or writing response emails. Everything we offer is grounded in current education law and practical experience. -

Caregivers preparing for education or healthcare decisions

You don’t have to know everything before you start. Our goal is to help you learn, grow, and feel more prepared each step of the way.
What We’re Not
-
We do not offer legal advice.
-
We do not conduct therapy or evaluations.
-
We do not replace your child’s care team.
We are trained professionals who care deeply about families and are committed to helping you advocate with clarity and confidence.
What Makes Us Different
At The Advocacy Table, we:
-
Use both clinical experience and real-life caregiving insight
-
Provide information grounded in research and federal and state laws
-
Break down complex systems into plain language
-
Focus on helping you grow as a capable and confident advocate
We believe informed caregivers are the strongest advocates in the room. You just need someone to help you get started.
You're Not Expected to Know It All
Maybe no one ever explained how this works. Maybe you’ve been told to wait and see. Maybe you’ve left meetings more confused than when you walked in.
That doesn’t mean you’re not trying. It means you haven’t had the right support yet. We’re here to change that.
